Hailing from the woods of Courtland Alabama The Moose have played with the Go-Go Killers, The Queers and more right here in Huntsville! With influences ranging from Mastadon to Parliament Funkadelic The Moose already has a full lenth album out online under the title of Manifesto.

We sat down with 2/3 of The Moose and learn about the dangers of recording in a haunted church as well as answering the age old question, just what do moose sound like? We hear 3 tracks off The Moose's first album, Manifesto, including "Death", "Drums in the Deep", "If the River Was Whiskey" and "Manifesto".

Yes The Dozens are back and with them they've got brand new, debut tracks off their new EP coming out July 14th! We sat down with Shelley and Brent to talk about the making of the new album and about their upcoming gigs including the release show happening at Good People Brewing in Birmingham July 22nd. Altercation Punk Comedy Tour is back for it's 3rd year at Coppertop on June 4th! Local comedians Patrick Cunningham and Elliott White stop by the studio and talk about how this mixture of punk culture and comedy came together including the one time a single person with a mic was able to tame a Coppertop punk crowd, a feat rarely attempted since! The show features Jt Habersaat, Josh McLane, and will be guest hosted by Atlanta's Rodney Leete (Star Bar, Laughing Skull, Relapse Theater). There'll also be accousitc music by local musician Dan Thompson. Don't miss this great show Sunday night starting at 8pm $5 Cover.  

Ambear Troupe of Hometown Throwdown Productions and Headstash Products sits down with us and gives us a preview of A Grateful Getdown with Miltowne and Friends June 2nd at The Flying Monkey Arts. The event starts at 7:30 and will feature many local artists and artisan vendors with music from Milltowne. There'll be a preshow preformance by Joe Cagle.
